The Advanced Shortform For Teens class will go beyond the basics of improv and challenge the student to go beyond “Yes And”. The goal of this course is to introduce the students to the technical fun side of shortform improv. You will learn the structure of a show and the why we do the things we do. You will get to understand the concepts of characters, scene reality, and how to create a stage personality. You will learn improv “core games” typically included in a ComedyWorx(TM) show. All this leads to an end-of-course performance in front of family and friends. The class will be for teenagers from ages 13-18 and is a 6 week course with one 2 hour class per week.
