Hotel Principality, The Musical

 

Hotel Principality is an iO South trained improvisation group that performs at the The Worx Late Night Long Form shows. The group takes a one word suggestion from the audience and creates a purely improvised musical with live accompaniment from a pianist. 

Past shows have been about Eskimo lovers, right-wing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, sentient robots, South of the Border workers, cannibalistic husbands, horoscope-obsessed serial killers, square meatball makers, freedom fighting amputees, doomed Astronauts, Americans vacationing in Ireland, mean-spirited teachers, family troubles during Thanksgiving, sadistic ventriloquists, a woman visiting a town made up of only men and space travellers crash landing on an alien planet.
